In 2012 we'll celebrate our 30th Annual Silver State Convention. To celebrate this event we are moving back to Las Vegas. Our Convention will be held at the Palace Station Hotel-Casino minutes from the fabulous Las Vegas Strip. We were able to secure what we believe to be an awesome deal for our members. With ever increasing attendance we need your help with convention planning to keep costs down while providing the best value possible for our attendees.
As you might imagine; tables, chairs, and our free food events, must be planned well in advance. Our all-you-can-eat Picnic Buffet lunch on Friday was a huge success and we are planning to do it again in 2012 along with the Continental Breakfast on Thursday morning.
New Registration Deadline
To keep costs down and have sufficient tables available we ask everyone to register by the deadline, March 3, 2012. Registering by the deadline also provides an accurate count for our free Continental Breakfast and free all-you-can-eat Picnic Buffet lunch. This year we will institute a late fee if we do not receive your registration by the registration deadline.This small late fee will help us to coordinate any late changes that might need to be made prior to the start of the convention.

About Us
The Silver State region of ALPCA is dedicated to license plate hobbyists. While we are deeply rooted in the State of Nevada our attendees arrive from North and South America and around the world year after year. The Silver State Convention is not to be missed. This is the second largest license plate gathering held annually.
Every year in March, the Silver State Region of ALPCA hosts the best 3 day license plate Convention in the country, certainly the Best in the West. Each year more than 200 collectors from as far away as Australia, Europe, North and South America, gather to buy, sell, and trade license plates of all kinds, shapes, colors, and sizes.

It is an idea brought forward that we think worth pursuing. The Silver State region would like to have on our website, a chronological listing and photograph of each Nevada plate ever issued. This would be valuable from both a historical and a collectors perspective and make a great addition to our website.
