ALPCA Silver State & NILPS Convention Plates

Pictured is a complete collection of souvenir plates issued by the Silver State region, NILPS, and the Silver State region over the years. The first souvenir plate to be issued was in 1987 (ALPCA Silver State region 1987). All of the plates issued from 1987 through 1994 were issued as Silver State regional meet plates when the club was affiliated with ALPCA. From 1995 through 2007, all of the plates were issued by the new NILPS Organization. Please note that two plates were issued for 1992 and 1996 and that the plate issued for1998 was a motorcycle plate!

A complete set of ALPCA Silver State regional meet and NILPS souvenir meet plates would make a nice display on your wall.

ALPCA Silver State region - 1987

This is the 1st souvenir plate ever issued for the Silver State Regional ----- The meet was held in Reno, Nevada in 1987 ----- interesting to note that the color of the embossed letters and numbers is a dark blue ----- the same as regular issue Nevada plates -----Nevada never issues souvenir plates in dark blue - only red!

ALPCA Silver State region - 1988

The second souvenir plate issued for the Silver State Regional in 1988. The meet was held in Henderson, Nevada ----- normal Nevada souvenir color ----- red embossed letters and numbers.

ALPCA Silver State region - 1989

The third souvenir plate issued by the Silver State Regional in 1989 ----- again, unusual regular dark blue embossed letters and numbers -----should have been red for souvenir plates

ALPCA Silver State region - 1990

Silver State Regional held in Henderson, Nevada ----- normal red embossed letters and numbers

ALPCA Silver State region - 1991

Held in Reno, Nevada, 1991 -----The 1st flat, silk-screened souvenir plate ----- dark blue in color 1992

ALPCA Silver State region - 1992

2 plates issued for the 1992 Henderson, Nevada Silver State Regional. These two plates marked the 11th anniversary of the Silver State Regional and the 6th year of issue of souvenir plates ----- dark blue, flat silk-screened.

ALPCA Silver State region - 1993

Meet held in Reno, Nevada in 1993 ----- flat, silk-screened ----- red and dark blue letters and numbers.

ALPCA Silver State region - 1994

ALPCA Silver State Regional meet - 1994 This was the last Silver State meet before changing to NILPS. The meet was held in Boulder City, Nevada flat, silk-screened, red and dark blue

NILPS - 1995

NILPS 1 embossed, red "NILPS 1" ----- The 1st NILPS Souvenir Plate and the 1st NILPS meet ----- Henderson, Nevada - 1995 ----- blue, sample Nevada 1995 stickers

NILPS - 1996

Miner # 2 ----- Henderson, Nevada - 1996 (There were problems obtaining plates on time this year so the red embossed NILPS plates were ordered first ----- black on green 1996 sample Nevada stickers upper right ----- and then the "Miner" souvenir plates arrived in time for the meet ----- This was the first NILPS Souvenir Plate to be numbered ----- #s 1 - 300 were made along with several blank plates for the Board Members ----- also embossed

NILPS meet held in Henderson, Nevada ----- embossed numbers

NILPS - 1998

Motorcycle # 2 - Henderson, Nevada - 1998 ----- The first souvenir motorcycle plate issued by NILPS - produced with no bolt holes.

NILPS - 1999

Henderson, Nevada - 1999 embossed numbers - design similar to 1996 Souvenir Plate with a miner to the left on the plate - dark blue on white - NILPS vertically on right side

Embossed numbers ----- silk-screened date upper right (2000) ----- produced by Nevada DMV

NILPS - 2001

Miner to left, NILPS vertically to right ----- embossed numbers ----- made by Nevada DMV

NILPS - 2002

Miner to right - NILPS lower left - horizontally ----- embossed numbers ----- silk-screened date upper right (2002) ----- made by Nevada DMV

NILPS - 2003

Black on yellow sticker upper right ----- embossed numbers ----- NILPS to right, vertically ----- railroad engine to left ----- made by Nevada DMV

NILPS - 2004

Famous Las Vegas sign to left - NILPS vertically to right - silk-screened white on red 04 sticker upper right - for the first time in a number of years plate not produced by Nevada DMV
